Job Description Summary
Compiles and maintains personnel records by performing the following duties, as well as administrative support for the Director of Human Resources, Employee Relations Manager and Human Resources Generalist.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Processing out terminated employees, maintaining personnel records, handles correspondence and various miscellaneous requests for employees and generates weekly and monthly reports
Enter new hire demographic information into Workday System, process employment verification requests.
Process background checks into Workday.
Complete e-verification and reference checks of selected applicants to hire
Provide drug testing information/location to perspective applicants
Distribute and order HR Department in house mail, order office supplies and maintaining adequate inventory
Handle complimentary room requests for employees
When requested by HRD, mail birthday cards, order flowers for employees as needed
Maintain job descriptions data base
Correspond with “selected to hire,” job applicants and notify them of updated stage in on-boarding process
Process all new employees’ payroll documents, ID cards, locker assignments, orientation paperwork, etc.
Coordinate and schedule new hire orientation with Housekeeping, Convention Services, Sales and Security Departments
Purge applications and resumes and I-9 forms, as needed
Special projects as assigned.
